We had the good fortune of connecting with Waleska Anez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Waleska, how do you think about risk?
If you want to be an entrepreneur, you better get used to the idea that risk is your ally. Opening my business was a risk, yes, but waiting for a paycheck every other week was riskier.
I chose to take risk into my own hands.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Life is about relationships, that sums up my business. Consistency is the key to most tings in life, including business. When you show up for your clients, for your friends, for your family, a level of trust builds up, this is “rapport”. Your brand becomes tried & true.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love when friends and family visit me in my beach condo, I enjoy showing them around and spending quality time with them. I usually take them out to my favorite spots in town; for coffee, I love @kayricocoffee in Hollywood. For dining, I’m obsessed with @15stfisheries in Ft Lauderdale and my favorite lobster and crab joint is @rusticinncrabhouse . I also try to make sure I take them to @ygfarmersmarket for the freshest produce and most unique local vendors

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to the mentors and bosses I had along the way that gave me tough love, but taught me valuable lessons. I am a combination of my mentors in one.
