Meet Widler “WID” Octavius | Recording Music Artist “

We had the good fortune of connecting with Widler “WID” Octavius and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wilder “WID”, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk plays a major role in the life of a musician. Especially the sound of music changes over time. My first solo project was a risk and I wasn’t even sure if it will work because that was not the sound of the day. I took the risk because I wanted something different and that was a hit song. Risk regardless if it brings failure is a success. I am okay with that because failure to me is a learning process. It helps me grow.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is that we have different backgrounds. My music style is different, no matter what genre of music I produce, my sound is still different. I always took the time to add a secret spice to my project.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend was visiting the area, I would take them to Las Olas or South Beach because of the ambiance. It has a flair that can’t be found anywhere.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my music career ” Frero Jean-Baptiste” is one to credit for the WID I am today. He was my first connection to music professionally on a large scale. I owe it all to God don’t get me wrong, let’s say that’s the vessel God uses to give me the leg up I needed.
