We had the good fortune of connecting with William Jones II and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi William, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote has to be “If you don’t have the time to do it right, where will you find the time to do it over?” This was extremely important to me earlier in my career as a chef and it never left me. A lot of people do things half-heartedly and realize they should’ve done it 100% the first time. Then one of two things happen: ONE: they do it over and it usually costs way more time and sometimes more money (depending on what we’re talking about) than it initially did or TWO: they don’t do it at all and leave it for someone else to fix/finish or just simply never fix the problem. So many people want to run before they crawl and that is how you miss a lot of things and it always ends up costing more in the end.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Having been in the mortgage industry for many years, I have extensive knowledge in many different facets of the real estate business. From short sales to deeds in lieu of foreclosure, loan modifications, wholesaling & other types of creative financing, I have finally transitioned my wealth of knowledge into the real estate industry. I’ve had the privilege of working with one of South Florida’s top real estate investment groups early in my career and gained invaluable experience in how to close ANY transaction. I am beyond capable of helping you, the homeowner with a variety of services that can provide solutions for even the most complex & difficult situations. Our brand is built on trust, leadership and service. We work hard, keep our nose to the grind and just get things done. We go beyond to help our clients because of the wealth of knowledge we have, the desire to help others and a passion for success.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t really hang out much anymore. I have older kids and am more responsible and mature as I age in life. Having said that and the fact that I used to be a chef, I love eating at nice restaurants and having good food. So we would probably go to all of the best restaurants in town and not necessarily the trendy ones. I find that the more hype the restaurant has, the lower the quality in a lot of cases. I recently went to NAOE in Brickell. It’s a traditional Japanese restaurant and the food was amazing. There was no menu, so you literally sat down and enjoyed whatever the chef wanted to give you. The seafood is flown in daily from Japan, the ingredients are of the highest quality and the skills of the chef were spot on. In talking to the waitress, she said about 90-95% of the clientele are non-locals and I think they’ve been there for like 10+ years if I’m not mistaken. So for me it would be food, maybe take them to the beach, catch a Heat or Dolphins game, definitely the new Hard Rock Guitar hotel and Axe Throwing has become my new thing!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Nissim Matatof. He gave me my first job in real estate and without him I would not be as well versed and knowledgeable as I am in the real estate arena as I am. I literally went from knowing nothing to being able to find a real estate solution for anyone regardless of how difficult the situation is.
