We had the good fortune of connecting with XAVIER PRETERIT and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi XAVIER, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
In my opinion, risk is part of the business. You make money by taking risks and the bigger the risk you take, the more money you will make. I like to say that billionaires sometimes lose millions of dollars to become a billionaire, millionaires lose millions of dollars to become a millionaire and the rest of the world doesn’t want to take risks to make sure they don’t lose anything but still wants to become rich.
Of course you have to take measured risks and invest in something you believe in and are trained in.

What should our readers know about your business?
Formerly employed, I wanted to have my geographical and financial freedom. So I decided to invest in real estate in France to live fully from my generated rents. This challenge was a big one because when I started, everyone laughed and thought I was crazy. These same people, after seeing my results, asked me how to do it. I decided to share my experience and my expertise on my website www.businessismyreligion.com. At the beginning it was a simple sharing of experience and given the positive feedback I had. I created my company which aims to help a maximum of people to become financially free or to build a sustainable and profitable wealth. Obviously creating your own structure is not easy but being forced to wake up in the morning to go work for someone when you don’t want to go! It’s not easy either! So for me the choice was quickly made.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting. We’d go to Wynwood and let him discover the street artists. We’ll stop by the seaspice restaurant afterwards and we’ll finish up in South Beach.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother supported me a lot in this entrepreneurial journey. The book of MJ Demarco: the millionaire fastlane reinforced my choices.
