We had the good fortune of connecting with Yara Lamp and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yara, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I do dedicate time to help out to promote local events that support non profit organizations that helps my community and the people in need. Giving back to the community is a must for me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Working in the fashion industry for years has inspired me to start creating my own line of fashion.
My line is for women who wants to feel sexy but yet classy.
Being born and raised in an Arabic country has so much influence on my story line with fashion and that’s what sets me apart from others.
I believe that what got me to where I am today is never giving up and always
keep trying.
The lessons that I have learned along the way are so many and one of them is
I have learned to accept rejection and forgiveness is a blessing.
I want to show the world what middle eastern women living in America can do.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Florida is beautiful place and so much to do here, I would definitely be taking my visitors to the beach, and cruise on the boat for sunset, will take them for a nice meal at Meat Market restaurant in Hyde Park, and for a nice atmosphere and awesome drinks at Gin-Joint in Tampa.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I work with many talented people in the industry that helped me to get to where I am today, the first person that comes to my mind while reading the question is my friend Melody Mendoza for inspiring me every day to hustle and go after my dreams.
