We had the good fortune of connecting with YvNDO and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi YvNDO, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
To believe in myself. Making the decision to go for whatever it is I want in life. We all have choices and with this in mind we can be whoever we want to be.

Alright, so what separates you from other artists?
What separates me from other artists is the fact that I can be on both sides of the camera at the same time. I’ve been involved in entertainment since the age of 12 learning as much as I can and soon going professional at the age of 14. I started off as a dancer and throughout my journey ventured into djing, Mcing, production, creative directing, and marketing. I am most excited about my hit single “M.I.A” featuring Michael Jigstyle. Not only is the song amazing but the music visual is even better. There were many challenges on the way. I always had to protect my mindset. The only way I was able to get to where I am today was through consistency and determination. The biggest lesson I have learned is to never give up. My supporters do a good job at reminding me of this when they chant, “It’s YvNDO in the building always feels like a million”, when i enter the room. I would like everyone to know that they can turn a negative to a positive and to never give up on your dreams.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Spots that I would recommend would be South Beach, Wynwood, and the Miami Design District. Between these places there are plenty of shops, amazing restaurants, and nightlife. Not only that, but you have the beach and the beautiful people of Miami. You may want to stay longer than a week.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and my supporters.
