We had the good fortune of connecting with Zae and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zae, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor for us has always been differentiation. We always set out to do things like that leave lasting impressions and have people saying “I’ve never seen that before.” From our events that we curate to our music & the thought behind it, that is what has shown us the most success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our story is full of pivots. You have to be willing to adjust and shift as needed throughout this journey. Currently as an Artist, I’m getting set to release my 2nd EP titled “SAINT”. It’s an EP fully comprised of R&B vibes. Throughout this past year and a half a lot personally has gone on in my life & I have been able to channel those emotions to the music. It’s beautiful when I play back the EP & it’s a rollercoaster ride for me because I can remember every instance or thought that went into writing these tracks. I’m really excited to share it with the world and also the merch that we have created around the project is amazing. We have really been seeing a lot of support & have actually sold out of our pre-orders already about a month before the project Releases.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite spots in the city are Tampa Tattoo Company, which is one of the most creative shops in all of Tampa Bay. All of my ink has been from the artists at the shop presently over the years.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
With our journey we wouldn’t have gotten here without @MGSVSNS – Miguel Espino, who has been our creative director. Anything from video editing to Graphics to brainstorming stage designs, my guy does it all. Also I couldn’t forget to mention my cohost on the podcast Serg Bonilla who since day 1 of meeting us has been 100% invested in anything we do. From sound engineering to some cool stuff we have in the works now with miniatures, my guys are always working & thinking what’s next.
