We had the good fortune of connecting with Estefania Sanchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Estefania, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I first started thinking about starting my own business, I knew I wanted to be able to change peoples lives. The kind of work I do, is very rewarding but when you work for other companies it is difficult to be more involved with the patients. I’m having my own business I would be able to have a more hands on approach with their therapy as well as be involved in their recovery past a certain time. I have always known I wanted to help others, and with my own business it gives me that opportunity to be truly present in peoples and their families lives
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist who received her Masters Degree in science from Florida International University. I have experience working with the adult population at multiple hospitals in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation. I have a vast background including but not limited to evaluating, diagnosing, & treating patients with history of stroke, cerebral aneurysm, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, head and neck cancer, Lou Gehrig’s disease and Dementia together with VitalStim certification, experience with AAC devices and experience providing extensive treatment using EMST.
I established this business due to my passion to help provide patients with a better quality of life along with being a support system for their families. I am enthusiastic about utilizing evidence based treatment and methods with hope of positively impacting as many patients and through a work of love and compassion.

It is a constant process…. It’s not easy being a small business trying to compete with big corporations providing the same services. I knew when o opened my business I’d be going up against a lot but I also believe in the love and compassion I have and can provide my patients… and that right there is unmatched. I continue to persevere and find every avenue I can to promote my business. The reason I stand out is because I will always go above and beyond for my patients. I treat each person as if they are my family. And my only goal is to help
Provide a better quality of life and be there whenever I am needed. For the patient as well as their family and caregiver.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have always said the person i dedicated opening my business to is my grandmother. She was a pillar in my life and part of the reason I choose to be in the career I’m in. She always told me I was meant to change peoples lives. I work with the adult population, and it’s a population that’s very dear to my heart. Whenever I treat my patients, I treat them like they’re my family. I pour all of my love into every treatment session I do. My grandmother was my best friend, and my biggest supporter. I dedicate my success to her and pour my whole heart into my career knowing she’d be rooting for me always. She always told me to be myself, to love with my whole heart and help others. I plan to continue to do just that.
