We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcus white Joseph Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marcus white, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process behind starting destruction Runs Under God’s Structure (D.r.u.g.s) was to create something that would help people Casually express individuality and to help like minded people be comfortable as themselves.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We believe in inspiring individuals to be unapologetic in being themselves with our witty, sometimes galvanizing, statement shirts and other merchandise.

Our e-commerce store is a black-owned small business that has an oddly relatable approach to presenting our brand.

Our online store believes that normal is overrated!!
Expresstive clothes and accessories for the addictive personality. Why say it when you can wear it!!!

We got where we are today with hard work and trusting ourselves. Some lessons we’ve learned on this journey are to have heart, dedication, and perseverance. If you don’t believe in yourself who else will?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For things to do- Zip lining, horseback riding trail, diging for crystals, ice skating. Laser tag. The zoo, indoor skydiving, paintball, rage room, axe throwing, going to the pool, a spa day with a massage.

Places to eat- golden carral, 5th element Indian restaurant, hibachi is always great.

Places to drink- we can go bar hopping on the boardwalk. However, in all honesty most of our friends are home bodies like us. We can have all of these events planed and not do a single one. We would most likely end up having some drinks at home watching movies and play games, probably end up taking naps in between.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to our friends, family, and our customers for the love and support they give us. A special shotout to Joshua Brooks and Crystal Cabrae for helping us get this opportunity. I would also like to give recognition to the book, “RICH DAD POOR DAD” by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter; it helped encourage us to start our own business.
