We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Pedraja and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Personally, I’d have to say the most important factor of my success has been the people I surround myself with and my determination towards my goals. My family and husband have been a huge inspiration for me. My mom was a huge part of my decision to become an entrepreneur, she came to the United States from Cuba and started working towards a brighter future and she was able to accomplish her goals without the ability to speak fluent english. She’s been a Realtor for over 16 years and has been very successful at it. It was her success that has shown me that anything is possible if you work hard and never give up. I struggled a lot when it came to getting my real estate title, it was not something that came easy to me, but I knew I had to keep pushing and keep trying. I also thank my husband for that, there was times where I would question myself and ask if it was really meant to be? I couldn’t think like that. He helped me realize that you have to create your path and no matter how hard it gets just keep moving forward. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I had let all the doubts get to my head. It is all the hardships i’ve faced that have helped me appreciate my success today. My persistence and determination is what has helped me and will keep helping me reach success in my businesses. I hope my story can help inspire other young entrepreneurs like myself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Aside from being a Real Estate Agent, I also run my own Luxury Picnic Business alongside my Husband, The Picnic Allure Miami. We created this business together in September of 2021. It’s been so exciting and honestly just a great way to explore our creativity. Whenever I design a picnic set-up it feels almost as if I’m creating art. For me it’s not just a business, it’s a way of discovering different styles and helping people create memories that’ll last forever. It’s a business that doesn’t feel like work for me. It hasn’t been easy, growing a business and trying to get people to notice it is always a challenge. We’ve had to work our way up and take leaps of faith, give away free picnics, and spend money and hours of marketing. The Picnic Allure Miami is my passion and knowing I can give people these lovely memories all while getting to create a serene and beautiful space is amazing to me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places in Miami has got to be Villain Theater, I’d say its a hidden gem. It’s an improv comedy club where you can sit down and enjoy the funniest shows in the city and participate in free Karaoke. Beach-wise I’d recommend Hollywood beach, not too far from Miami and provides more of a chill beach day vibe.
If we’re talking food, you can’t miss Texas de Brazil, it’s an all you can eat steakhouse in one of the most popular places in Miami, Dolphin Mall.
