Hi David, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?

Happy Clean helps the community by keeping our client’s properties in tip-top shape. Nowadays, more so ever, our clients face the challenge of cleaning their property because they do not have the adequate time, desire, or experience to clean.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From the age of four years old, all I knew was how to kick and run after a soccer ball. I played soccer professionally for about 4 years and once I decided to close that chapter in my life I decided to start a cleaning company called Happy Clean. I had no experience as an entrepreneur, but I was afraid of venturing into the world of being an entrepreneur. Yes, the risk was present but the challenges kept me motivated. After 6 years of being in business, we are servicing now 12 locations in Florida.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami has tons of places to decompress from your work life and have fun. Brickell has great restaurants to visit, and Wynwood has great bars to grab a drink. We also have Miami Beach where you can ride jetskis or soak in the sun on a boat.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I strongly believe that having a strong support system is essential to your success. It can be family, best friend, or loved one. Ultimately, it is up to you to move forward and figure out the daily challenges a business faces and always believe and trust the process.
