We had the good fortune of connecting with Lea Kiss and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lea, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to help young girls and guys to achieve their dreams of becoming top models. Because as a former signer for Sony music, I know what it takes to succeed.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my career as a young girl in the music industry with Sony Music. Before I signed with Sony music, I worked hard to become an artist for their label. Hard work pays off. From the music industry, I learned that becoming successful comes from hard work, not talent. Although talent plays a big factor in who you want to become, hard work is the most important thing. I don’t believe in talent, I believe in hard work.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Currently I like to work hard and not spend time with other distractions. Even when I was young I was a hard worker, when I was having concerts it would be work but I would enjoy it at that time and I can invite my friends and family to the best parties or restaurants or to my apartment in paris but during all that time I was working.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I give credit to my best friend DeAnne Graham Connolly who recently passed away, my friend Emile who lives in Paris and the one who helped me in my life, George Collins Clive who helped me since the start of my career.
