We had the good fortune of connecting with Jean-Paul Lietaert and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jean-Paul, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The need to leave a mark on the world just by reforming it… So that future generations can find better spaces than I have found.
I think that many people need personalized help, to go back to the basics of the past, every human being needs attention and dedication, that is why I offer my knowledge in order to solve day-to-day problems.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Im an architect in my contry Venezuela and here I offer interior design services for all the spaces, after studying the clients requirements, the most important thing is to dedicate all your attention to a new project.
“It’s not the number of projects, it’s the quality and enthusiasm you put into a single project.”
You must have steel patience and a lot of emotional stability to run a business on the right track, especially being a designer you must have your mind in optimal conditions so that your creativity can fly without limits.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It is very important for me to cultivate my relationships with true friends, without any doubt I would take him to an outdoor concert on a Saturday afternoon in Key Biscayne, or I would go to the keys fishing on a boat, on a Sunday we would certainly enjoy a good brunch in one of the hundred elite places in Miami.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Throughout my professional experience I haved many mentors, talented but mostly local personalities. Each one of them has an important value in determining my character, most of them business partners including heads of the companies where I have been lucky enough to belong. : engineers, lawyers, architects, designers, installers, master builders, artists and teachers.
