We had the good fortune of connecting with Slaterria Hunter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Slaterria, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea of my business was honestly due to women empowerment. I love seeing women have confidence and really see how much power it is being a beautiful young woman & sometimes we often forget how important we are so being in the beauty industry helps uplift all women of different shades & color.
What should our readers know about your business?
So my business is called Bundles0fSlay where I sell hair extensions, & different beauty products I’ve been doing this for 3 year’s. What sets me apart from other’s is the fact that I actually build a bond with each one of my clients. I know during this pandemic it’s difficult so I try to do as many sales as possible every month. Consistency is key to a business that’s how I was able to strive with my business & being my own brand ambassador a walking brand for your brand is number 1. The lesson’s I’ve learned with my business is to remain patient you might not get the sales you want today or tomorrow but staying consistent & remembering why you started. I want the world to know that if I could do it you can the journey to 6 figures is the best feeling.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love hanging out so I would first start off with breakfast I absolutely love shooters they’re brunch is top tier. Tap 42 lunch I actually enjoy & the drinks are fire. For a nice dinner date I’d have to say “victory” is my #1 go to spot the drinks are fire & the hookah is bomb & the salmon is the bessssst. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes I’d love to give a shout-out to my best friend rixcy Ayala her business page is also @shopparisianstyles. She’s another one who also is an important factor in my business she supported me from the very beginning. She also has the same outlook on women empowerment as I do, she has a clothing boutique so our visions are pretty similar. She definitely deserve a lot of recognition in my journey. She’s played a major role in my success along side my mother & my cousin Ja’’nice & Ta’’nicqua those are my back bones..
