We had the good fortune of connecting with Alyssa Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alyssa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My original thought process on starting the real estate company INSIDE stemmed from my passion for taking my team to the next level by providing elevated marketing, public relations exposure, strong social media presence and providing infrastructure for real estate agents that runs like a proper business. I knew by starting my own brokerage, I would be able to take our marketing and support to a new level given the financial model. At INSIDE, our company has a coach/advisor, day-to-day social media management, a PR team, a legal team, transaction coordinators, a content creation team, daily SEO, a client care specialist, and a director of operations so that our agents can focus on what they’re the best at – connecting buyers to properties.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At INSIDE, we set ourselves apart with our strong social media presence and unique content that proudly represents our exclusive listings and an inside look at Miami living. Our company is built on the values of inspiring each other with healthy competition and collaboration on deals. Our team is very close – we enjoy being together and we have an environment that doesn’t feel like “work.”

It’s not easy – consistency and standing out is key in the real estate industry, which is why all our agents have a niche that separates them from other agents, just like our company from other companies.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would recommend staying at the Faena or Four Seasons Surfside and having dinner at The Surf Club Restaurant by Thomas Keller at Four Seasons Surfside. I love the Pilates Megaformer class at JETSET Sunset Harbour. You can’t go wrong with a spa and beach day at Faena, and then a dinner show at Faena with drinks in the “Living Room” to follow. Then, on Sunday, visit Bal Harbour shops and dine at Houston’s or Makoto.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have always worked with mentors and coaches that I look up to. When I first started, I brought my business to one of the best teams in Miami so I could learn the ropes from the best in the industry and experience how they negotiate and run their businesses. I currently work with two coaches: a real estate coach and a personal/business coach. The two coaches assist me in setting clear goals, advise on opportunities and solutions for growth and expansion and, most importantly, they hold me accountable. Our culture at INSIDE is heavily driven by inspiring each other with healthy competition, mindset and collaboration on deals.
