We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaileen Cox and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaileen, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
When thinking about risk I would rather use the word chance. I believe the words we use in our life’s have power in creating our reality. The way I think about taking chances is following my greatest level of excitement and conversation with my spirit team. I know that I am being guided by the life I want to create so those chances are being given for my highest good. I would say when I was first starting out with my career I was much more timid, based on learned response to hide by power to be heard and seen. Taking that first chance to be in front of people and sharing my passion for healing was invigorating and now I look for every chance I can get.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I want the world to know that we all have the ability to innate healing. There are so many beautiful and powerful healing tools and techniques that truly are for the masses. We can all listen to our bodies’ messages and effortlessly follow our intuition. You are not alone on this path and simply you got this! You are already healing, give yourself more room to go deeper and be your authentic you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This question is really eye opening for me because I would rather do this for my previous home Tucson, Arizona. Sticking with where I currently live we would start with a relaxing day to let them adjust from traveling. We would get our meals from a few different local restaurants including Max’s deli. Spending some time in downtown Chicago, beach day at Lake Michigan, catch a White Sox game, drinks at The Signature Lounge at the 96th and dinner at Avvio would all be a must. Depending on the time of year we would also want to spend sometime in nature. I would like to walk Chicago Botanical Gardens or make a trip to Starved Rock State Park. A fun weekend idea is always heading out to Galena for the small town charm.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have many people in my life that have helped me become the person I am today and I am so grateful because of it! First, my family, my loving mother that always taught me to look for the alternative and started me on my healing awareness journey. My incredible father who always showed me how to stand tall and be proud while humble. My three older siblings helped me see how to be tough and soft at the same time so I can stand in my power while being approachable. All my friends along the way helped shape me. My best friend, business confidant, and loving husband, Matt, helps me every step of the way. My professional mentors, Paul Bucky with the nonprofit organization Bio-Touch Healing, Ginger Castle, Sonia Choquette, Joan Upton, and Lisa Nitzkin. All the members of Bio-Touch. My clients and soul team. Lastly and most importantly my children. My loving and joyful daughter that changed my world by making me a mother and my little one on the way. I also want to thank all the people that will be coming into my life and the impact that will bring to learn and grow.
