We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Londono and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The truth is that I’m a very adventurous person, I’d rather failed trying than waiting for the perfect moment. I have started three different businesses here in Miami and with all of them I just don’t think to much, I make sure that I’m loving what I’m doing, that I’m putting all my effort, research and compaction to get the perfect team and start from scratch. When I moved to the us I first started working on a warehouse, then I open with my family a fitness studio (BTrain) in key biscayne which we had it for 4 years and was very lucky to be able to sell it before pandemic!
During that time I didn’t know what to do and my cousin was working with a very good friend of mine, I was going to his business every day to visit my cousin so I was super involved in the business until one day he asked me if I wanted to be his partner and I join the business (@amazonica.official) I’m still working with him and I love what we do.
The last business that I opened was in March 2021 (305carrental) with the pandemic I had 1 car that I was not using and I started renting it, for my surprise it was a huge success and we now have more than 30 cars in the business and we keep growing every day

What should our readers know about your business?
BTrain: this was my first business here in Miami. We had a technology that no one had so we were pioneer in the business, I started working with all my family on the business and it was a huge success. We all loved what we were doing but then before pandemic, we had to move location and it had a huge impact on us. I then started looking for someone to buy the business, and we were so lucky because we were able to sell it before pandemic. Amazonica: so after I sold the gym, I didn’t know what I was going to do, my cousin was working with a very good friend of mine, who has an amazing business here in Miami and I went to visit him every day. I was super involved in the business and I was selling all the products and everything and my friend saw me and he was impressed that I was so involved without knowing anything about the business so he asked if I wanna join him on the business and work together. It’s been more than two years and we’re still working together a growing the business we had had a lot of challenges, the food business it’s not easy but we love what we are doing and right now have five locations in total and we’re very proud of what we have achieved.
305 Car Rental: this actually was very funny. I never thought I will have something like this. It was at the beginning of 2021 and I had one car that I was not using and I was going to sell it, but at that time everyone from Colombia was coming to Miami to get the vaccine, so there were a lot of tourism. So my family was like why don’t you rent that car? And I was like OK I’m gonna give it a week if I rent it I keep it. If not I’m selling it. For my surprise I rented every day so I was like OK this is a big business so I started moving all my connections in Colombia to promote my new business. Now we have more than 30 cars including automobile, SUV, minivans, and luxury cars. This business I started from scratch, and I’m very proud for everything that we have done with it. It has a lot of challenges. You have to deal with a lot of customers a lot of claims insurance cleaning, delivering the car but it’s the most satisfying business to be able to see it grow, and with a huge future ahead

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
OK, so first I will take him to Soho Beach House they think that’s a very good place to store for some drinks. Dinner fun if you want to go to the beach so that will be the first one. Then you could also take him to the Standard Hotel for some drinks and Sunset. So for later drinks at Jolanda that it’s like a very cozy new bar in Mimo or also Dantes. For some dessert obviously Amazonica at Upper Buena Vista it has huge threes. you feel like you’re in Tulum

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
