Meet Ivanna Guerrero | Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ivanna Guerrero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ivanna, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I started pursuing a Carrie in this industry because I want to inspire people that think they can’t start and they can’t do it because of how they look how tall they are and they think they can’t do it I’ve also fallen in love with the industry sense I was a little girl I would be in talent shows and in music classes I would also be in acting classes and modeling courses I’ve always loved modeling I remember being a little girl and trying on my moms clothes and walking out of the closet and model for her another reason I wanted to pursue an artistic and creative career is because there is no limits to your creativity there is never a limit to what you can accomplish and there is no limit to how many people you can inspire to get up and try something different

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It was not easy to get to we’re I have gotten in a year I’ve had many ups and downs and there has been many lessons I’ve had to learn like being persistent and not giving up I’m so proud to have made it on FLF fashion week as well as to have worked for designers like tony Visions and odalys Marino What sets my art appart from others is the way I do it and how it feels to me it’s just a feeling you get when you get on stage with those great designs and you walk you just have fun and be yourself in front of those cámaras
Challenges I’ve had to over come has definitely been not being able to fit into brands because of my hight or how I look going into a casting and getting turned down or not having casting directors look at you when you walk in the room is a challenge to deal with emotionally but at the end of the day I always say sometimes God has different plans for us

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Of my friend would be down in miami I would definitely take them to my house and eat arepas after that I would take my car and get in with her and go to the beach I would go to Hollywood Beach because it’s a fun spot I would spend the day there with her ion the beach taking the sun in and enjoying talking and listening to music after we would go to this pizza shop and eat pizza with bacon and we would walk the boulevard after and stop and get some ice cream by that time it would have been night already the next day we would wake up drink a green smoothie and go to the gym run do legs and go eat bolay after maybe we could stay home and watch movies talk and have a girls day were I can do a facial on her and get to know how she is Next day we would go to the gym and I would take my friend to the shops at Pembroke gardens we could eat at brios and enjoy there food
The day after that we can go to the design district and take pictures in my camara after we can go eat sushi at a sushi spot I know there during the weekend I would go camping with my friend to a spring up in Fl I think it would be a great idea we can go and enjoy the water and head to the beach after the spring
Before she leaves I would take her to one of my favorite burger spots in miami

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would also like to dedicate it to my mom and my grandma and the person I consider like a father to me his name is Antonio they have always been there supporting me and telling me how proud they are of me and my accomplishments my grandma and my mom take me everywhere and always come to all my shows my father figure has always supported me by cheering me on and being there for me emotionally and financially I ran in a competition called miss Hispanic and my mom and my grandma with their own hands designed the dress that could tell a little about our story I would also like to thank my family and my friends as well as my followers
