We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Castro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I think that as parents we are always creating an impact on our children, they look up to us, and we quickly become their role model. I truly think that my daughters have been most impacted by the quality of time I spend with them and by showing and telling them how much I love them every day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a real estate broker associate. When I started in this career 27 years ago, I didn’t realize that I was going to have to overcome so many different situations. It has not been easy, but it has been more than rewarding. When the difficulties arose, I became a solution seeker and I maintained a positive attitude. I used every situation as a learning experience, and continued moving forward.
I want people to know that every aspect of my business reflects my conviction that everything comes down to human connection. Trust and accountability are extremely important to me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My city offers so many places to see — glad it is a week. First place we will go is the beach in South Point., where we can have lunch at the restaurant that is in the park facing the ocean. We will visit during the week Wynwood, the Design District, Coconut Grove, and Coral Gables. We would go eat in any of the amazing restaurants in Miracle Mile, and go shopping in Dadeland Mall and in Brickell City Center. At night we can visit one of the amazing rooftop bars that our city has.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The book The Purpose Driven Life by Pastor Rick Warren and the book The Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer have had a great impact in my life and in my relationship with God, which in turn has tremendously helped with my success. Also the support of my children and my significant other deserve all the credit, as I would not be able to do it alone.
