We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Goldach and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabrielle, what do you attribute your success to?
By far the most important factor behind the success of the inside space. a family chiropractic studio, was making the conscious choice to follow what felt most like truth to ME. Since the very moment I knew I wanted to create my own family chiropractic practice (and ultimately culture and community to surround and embed it), I knew exactly how I wanted it to feel.

I wanted it to feel like a place in which healing was abundant. A place in which people of all ages could enter and no longer feel a need to carry all of the heavy baggage that they may have accumulated that hour, that day, or that lifetime. I wanted to create a space in which feeling and healing were both synonymous and inevitable, as a wise man in the chiropractic world once said “you cannot heal what you cannot feel”. I wanted to create a feeling of envelopment–one in which people had no other choice but to be wildly present as the breadth of sensation via all the senses took precedent. From the smells, to the sights, to the music playing in the background, to the feelings of the energetics that we may not be able to describe educatedly, but we all know exist somewhere beneath the levels of our day to day consciousness.

This deep longing and committment to creating these feelings in a space in which I am so fortunate to use chiropractic as a vehicle for profound healing has allowed me a metaphorical tunnel of light that has always kept all that exists for me in plains sight, with that which is not meant for me in this moment just beyond what I can grab.

In cultivating this deep listening to what is a yes, or a truth, and what is not, I have been able to relinquish a need to create and cultivate and nourish the inside space in a similar manner as the next guy–the next guy who may be wildly talented, captivating and driven, however no two paths are alike.

It is this great discernment in, ultimately, what my truths are, that have allowed me and encouraged me along this path of success, deep commitment to self and my purpose in this season of life, and in creating a community space for healing that may have not been thought possible prior.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have worked diligently to refine the way we communicate what is possible by way of chiropractic. I believe this absolutely sets the inside space apart.

This refining process has not always been easy, as we live in a world in which narratives run strong. Ultimately, I have made it my mission by way of the inside space to break down these common narratives and rebuild it with a sense of integrity, introspection, and empowerment.

Traditionally, a western model of health is centrifugal to all that is wrong, broken, or in need of fixing. At the inside space, we invite a refreshing reframe by ditching labels and diagnoses, and instead inviting in a common jargon to describe our current state of being by way of our nervous systems and the perception we hold of our worlds–both within and without.

By scrapping a need to fix or diagnose, we focus instead on providing language for our own lived experiences, adapting as gently as we can, learning, growing, and adapting again. By utilizing language that is vitalistic in nature and not victimizing, we create a new potential for healing and vitality for people of all ages. This verbal reframe in conjunction with a stellar service delivered speaks for itself, at which point, the only thing left for me to do is to get out of the way and let the body do what it does best: heal.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If someone were visiting my area, I would absolutely start the day with a home made egg sandwich, equipped with toast, avocado, and over easy eggs–crushed red pepper flakes are a non-negotiable. I would absolutely insist that this friend of mine permits me to provide a cup of fully loaded matcha. Whole milk, turmeric, cinnamon, maple, collagen, and a raw egg yolk complete this concoction to perfection.

Next up is a walk around Antrim Park–a beautiful 1.1 mile loop around a pristine little lake on the north side of Columbus. The fresh, crisp air this time of year is unparalleled, particularly when the sun is poking through warming our thawing skin.

A stop at the inside space to get adjusted is a must. Ultimatley, this is a love language for me. Let me take care of you in the best way I know how.

Lunch is a toss up, with so many great places to choose from. However, for someone not local to Columbus, the North Market is a must. Ethnic cuisines galore exists here. I am one to get summer rolls from Lan Viet, the Vietnamese place, in conjunction with a gyro from the greek spot, or even Pad Thai from Nita’s Thai. Impossible to choose incorrectly.

Depending upon how much food is consumed, a 2pm yoga class at Yoga On High taught by Anne is my favorite. The perfect mix of simplicity, play, yet challenge and intrigue. It is my sanctuary outside of my office.

Home comes next. Rest for me is important.

As we gear up for the evening, there is no better spot than Accent Wine Parlor–the perfect place to do daily tastings or just to buy a bottle and share it amongst friends while taking advantage of their cozy environment with their ever=knowledgeable employees.

I’m absolutely a sucker for a great meal. The Pearl comes to mind for a consistently good nosh as well as atmosphere. I adore sitting at the oyster bar for an appetizer before making my way over to a corner table to really lavish the atmosphere.

A packed day mixed with an early night of deep rest is absolutely the way to my heart.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have been so fortunate to have crossed paths with amazing chiropractors, humans, and mentors.

To name a few of those who have easily held the most influence over me in my humanity and in my profession as a chiropractor, John Martinez, Eric Rubin, Wade Port, and Sue Brown have been nothing short of life-changing for me as I have ventured (and been ever so gently pulled) down my path.

These people felt like truth to me, and ultimately still do (perhaps that is why I am still chasing them around as often as I can).

These individuals show up as exemplary in all that they do–existing in a deep state of integrity that I honestly did not know to be possible. These individuals, in their deep commitment to themselves, humanity, and their craft, have deeply informed virtually all that I do. I strive to exist in such a state of congruence and listening, living in a continual practice with the awareness that “how you do anything is how you do everything”.

Living and passed alike, these four individuals are an absolute gift to the consciousness that pervades our planet. They inspire deep thought, questioning, learning and unlearning interchangeably.
