We had the good fortune of connecting with Cold Medina and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cold, why did you pursue a creative career?
Honestly, creativity is a calling. As an artists or creators we are always going to making music or art or whatever it is that we do. Whether we get paid off of that is one thing, but the pursuit of creative excellence is really what drives us.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Been doing music for almost a decade. I think at the end of the day you have to be disciplined and ambitious. Never stop creating, never stop going. So much of this music game is based on momentum so just have to build that solid foundation which can take years.
I’ve learned you have to remain committed and focused while also understanding there will be things outside of your contrail and that’s ok too.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Hit the beach!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout my Abuelita! My grandmother is my biggest inspiration. She came to the United States alone as young lady and was able to bring her whole family over. If it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be here.
