Meet Andres Navas | Soccer entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andres Navas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andres, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My goal since I graduated college was always to own my own business. I didn’t want to work for someone else my entire life so I know eventually I would do something for myself but wasn’t sure what it would be. In 2018 I decided to start training kids privately for some extra income doing something I truly loved. The demand for my training blew up and I was able to turn it into that business I always wanted to own.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Top Class Training is a private soccer training business that differentiates from other similar businesses by having the best coaches in Miami. The success of Top Class Training is all due to our amazing staff. We hire coaches that Are passionate about developing players and are passionate about the game. All our coaches have experience playing at a high level, all our coaches played and coached at the successful collegiate and/or pro level so they have experienced challenges and lived soccer success that can be passed down to our players.

I’m most proud of our coaches which helped our business grow to the point of having our own indoor facility which is also something that makes us stand out from the rest.

I got to where I am today through loads of hard work and dedication but most importantly passion. The love I have for the game of soccer makes me want to be involved in it every day and do anything I can to help our players achieve their soccer dreams. Living and loving soccer day in and day out helped me put in the long hours of work that eventually leads to business growth.

It has not been easy, we have experienced many challenges along the way but that’s how we learn, by living and experiencing challenges that others may avoid but we take them head on as a way of getting rewards or learning lessons if it doesn’t go our way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Beach, eat at restaurants from different cultures, wynwood, coral gables, brickell.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
