We had the good fortune of connecting with Juliette Palencia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Juliette, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I always hope to inspire and empower others to follow their heart’s desires and to prioritize the many ways they can show themselves self love. This practice has been very rewarding for me as it’s shown me that having a little faith in yourself can go a long way. That is why I wanted to create The Plastic Girl Club Video Podcast not only to help others but also to create a space to share real life experiences, tips and insider perspective from the professionals and my personal opinions on some of my favorite topics.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
my constant has always been perseverance, and I’ve always strived for the best. working for others can be very difficult when you are expected to just accept the way others want you to be.

For me, having my personality and individuality has always made me proud and it’s set me miles apart from the normal ways people do things specially in corporate america.

That is why being a creative and having a career as a podcast host, luxury stylist, private plastic surgery consultant are equally important to me. Without the experience you get from working with others you can’t really narrow down what truly makes you happy in life. I was blessed to have had wonderful career opportunities with some of Miami’s top board certified plastic surgeons, top fashion designer brands, and I’ve even worked in the luxury yachting industry.

From these incredible experiences I was fortunate enough to create enough confidence and courage within me to chase my dreams and to always create my own path.

I admit, Sometimes it’s scary to take risks. To not follow and do what others are doing but it’s extremely rewarding to continue to see your growth and the impact you can have on others. I’m so excited to highlight where I am today creatively and professionally by having this incredible community based space where I can be myself and continue to share my journey with others.

The Plastic Girl Club Video Podcast is my creative outlet and a space focused on empowering others.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite things to do have to include a great setting, good food and the best ambiance. Being a Miami girl you know I love spending a good time and this city is oozing with luxury outdoor/ indoor experiences.

some of my favorite restaurants are places that allow for a great meal overlooking an incredible view like The standard hotel Miami Beach, Mila Restaurant for a very fun dinner with a view, or having some delicious sea food in Casa Blanca or Garcías. For drinks and extraordinary service I wouldn’t suggest missing out on Hillstones it’s just incredible.

For a great shopping experience I would recommend Miami Design District, Brickell City Center, or Shops at Merrick Park. If you want to party I would search for a speakeasy hidden bar or go big at LIV and if you want to get hot and sweaty make sure to visit different Wynwood bars on a Saturday night.

This city is not only super exciting but makes for a great time no matter where you are.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am today, without the love and support I have from my family and close friends.

Every single compliment, every word of encouragement sparked a driving force in me to continue going after what mattered most to me. All of this helped bring my wildest dreams into reality and I will always be humbled by that.
