We had the good fortune of connecting with Rion Heldibridle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rion, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
As an artist, I understand people and situations on a completely different level. Working in the creative field is a dream come true for me. It gives me the ability to express my out-of-the-box thinking, show my creative skills on a business level, and create beautiful and engaging content for our community.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career as a creative professional was a long road to travel. Developing different skills throughout my working years, keeping one foot in the business world and the other in the creative, has not been easy. However, it has been exciting and developmentally beneficial. I have earned to communicate on a personal level with others no matter their line of work and to easily identify a common ground to build upon a professional, long-lasting relationship. Along this journey, I have learned different techniques of flexibility to ensure mutual benefit from each business relationship, as well as the nurturing ability to develop strong, personal relationships. This is most important to me and my personal, as well as professional, brand as my profession is to create a welcoming, safe space where connections can be fostered, for all to enjoy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in Dania Beach, there are many things to enjoy in and around the area. One of my favorite places to take people is our beautiful beaches. Brunch on the Broadwalk of Hollywood Beach, an afternoon at one of our many nature parks, and shopping at Dania Pointe is a full day of fun activities. Venturing to one of several action parks, riding through the Everglades, and exploring our Intracoastal areas is a definite vacation must-do. Visiting our Miami and West Palm Beach zoos, swimming with the dolphins or manatees, and playing with the Monkey at Monkey Island are all activities that are a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Dining out on Las Olas, experiencing Downtown Fort Lauderdale’s nightlife, and attending a show at one of our many theatres is the perfect end to a time well spent.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Along the way, there have been a few key people who have supported my dreams from the beginning. They have been there to encourage me when I thought of giving up and to help me recognize my attributes and strengths. First of which, is my amazing oldest sister, Toni. Who has always made it a point to help me see each day the beauty I could bring to others. My husband David, who has been by my side, and my strength for the past 7 years, giving me the courage to chase my dreams.
