Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
$windlaaa, born and raised in NYC & Miami, Fl, is a hip-hop artist who likes to tell it like it is. The twenty-three-year-old rapper faced countless trials growing up and uses his music as an outlet for his stories. His music explores life after high school, the hardships people face going to college, and the real-life stories that people his age can relate to.

Born Curtis Foster Jr., $windlaaa is an only child raised by a single mother. Growing up, $windlaaa was always surrounded by music. He would walk around the house listening to Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, Kodak Black, and Michael Jackson. Although he and his friends used to freestyle in high school, his mother’s exposed him to the music industry as a club promoter.

After high school, $windlaaa went to college on a track and field Scholarship. Unfortunately, he was one credit short and lost his scholarship due to he moved back and forth from NY to FL. He was depressed and did not know life without being an athlete. During College, he wrote a poem about his transitional experience, to the delight of his peers and professors, who were amazed at his talent. At this point, $windlaaa realized he could take this seriously and decided to quit college and start rapping.

On January 24th, 2020, $windlaaa released his first single and hasn’t stopped since! In 2021 $windlaaa taps in with Trapland Pat for his Charting single Backend. He has collab with many other artists and has released two mixtapes, $windlaaa & Late Night Thoughts. $windlaaa is the top rising star for 2023!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d take them South Beach and out to eat at Prime One Twelve Resturant. The next day i;d Probably take them to G Five Strip club and Playa resturant
day 3 we wold go to SOUND OFF™ SILENT DISCO @ THE WYNWOOD YARD
