We had the good fortune of connecting with GERALDINE AMIS and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi GERALDINE, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to create a new technology to offer a natural solution with technology for people looking to reduce injections or an alternative to botox for a non-invasive face lift. Something natural, efficient and relaxing, something with a clinical approach with a Holistic protocol. I wanted to bring to the market a new experience offering instant, progressive and cumulative results for a long term skin rejuvenation.

What should our readers know about your business?
I really think that what sets me apart from others is the skin philosophy and the creativity with the knowledge and the experience I acquired for 35 years in the beauty field. I started as an aesthetician in 1988 and I already had this curiosity to look for more and was very attracted by the technology and the new techniques. I love advanced protocols and want to understand how it works and why it works and how I can improve it, always this passion of the skin pushes me higher. I realized after being a worldwide instructor and then a product developer and finally a top seller of many different technologies, that the secret of rejuvenation resides in awakening the cells from the inside with a natural stimulation using energy and some natural bio-actives for the best skin nutrition. I started to realize that my skin on my face had to be stimulated like my body with body workouts and the right diet!. I started to imagine in 2011 the technology from the future, the Skin workouts DERMOTECHNOLOGY Concept, simple and logical in analogy with our body knowing that we never stimulate enough our face and neck muscles. I’m not for the injectables because I rather prefer long term results than quick fix, and I’m looking to treat the skin in 4D,  in and out, taking care of the skin texture, the glow, the tone. I love as a skin artist to work on the skin looking to fix the imperfections for natural, 100%safe and long lasting results. My technique is based on boosting your own cells to potentially provide what your body can on its own. I overcame the challenges because even if there is a lot of marketing telling you that this is the best solution, as a niche luxury brand we are focused on the quality of our products and services. We have to demonstrate and educate people to make them understand the philosophy in the long run and why it is essential to use healthy and natural solutions for your skin. My motivation is strong and I’m persistent because I see the results and when I receive testimonials from my clients, I have this gratitude that tells me to carry on, and not to give up on something that I trust A to Z. DERMOTECHNOLOGY is not my business, it is my life purpose, LIFT TONE CONTOUR.
I learnt that people tend to believe what we see on TV, magazines, social media, and I know that we cannot change a culture, but i learnt as well that it is important to create and mark the difference. It takes time and patience and it requires hope and hard work but eventually people are interested and convinced when they try it and experience the concept for real!. This is my main concern to keep me ultra motivated, because I know this works!. For more than 12 years, I’ve been working on DERMOTECHNOLOGY and how to Connect Your Skin, and I discovered another way of fighting and preventing aging.
I want the world to know that it is possible to avoid injecting neurotoxins in your body for your skin to look younger and healthier.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to show my favorite places around to my friends visiting Miami, so our Skin clinic and Boutique is in MIMO so I always go to eat sushi at “Wabi Sabi Miami ”. I love this place and the plates are so subtle, it tastes amazing. Then i go often the weekend to “Le Tigre”, the cocktails and the evening menu a la carte is rare and out of the box like the decor inside and outside with the exceptional view on the canal. I usually show them Wynwood with all the street walls painted, i love it too!. Sundays, we go sometimes to the NIKKI BEACH, the Buffet lunch is incredible with all the mediterranean delicates plates, the desserts are delicious, and it is really nice to relax there with the DJ music!. I recommend as well at night to go the the “Joya Beach”, a very special place in the jungle island with the water at your feet, the food is fabulous too!. The first time we visited Miami to settle our business, we went to the “Berkley Hotel” on Miami Beach and we loved all of it with the amazing view from the top roof swimming pool!. Well Miami has all these positive vibes and energy from all the diversity and mix of cultures and people, i love it, love it , love it!
