Meet Rudeejay | DJ & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rudeejay and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rudeejay, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
That there are no shortcuts, and even if many are trying to use them (and even make you feel that they work!) at the end of the road the ones who last are those who worked hard every day, all day, since day one.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It wasn’t easy at all, it’s still not easy today: you have to overcome all the prejudices, the fact that for the “common” people it’s impossible to build a real profession out of art and so on… But if you believe in yourself, and work hard everyday to reach all of your goals, then the sky is the limit – and this usually happens only when you follow a path based on a true passion, based on your art.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You mean in my hometown? Bologna, in Italy? I’d take them to all the iconic spots, such as Piazza Maggiore, Due Torri, Fontana del Nettuno, Piazza Santo Stefano, and then in some typical but not “acchiappaturisti” restaurant like Biagi in via Saragozza.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, who is right now with me during my 2nd tour in Japan, and our dog, who recently passed away but will always be by our side.
