Meet Julie Belardinelli | Executive Director – Independent Wine Ambassador – The Boisset Collection

We had the good fortune of connecting with Julie Belardinelli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julie, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the success of my brand (and any brand really) is making sure the customer is engaged and getting their needs met. My business is very personal – each wine tasting experience is different based on the customer’s requirements and needs. It is always better to provide excellent customer service and make sure your client is happy, than to provide mediocre service and not be remembered. My business is basically built on “word of mouth” and referrals so the “experience” and the way you treat people means everything.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

We are a leading proponent and practitioner of organic and biodynamic farming methods and Boisset is also committed to producing wines in harmony with the natural balance and rhythm of the earth.

As a Boisset Collection Wine Ambassador, I bring people together through shared experiences with wine. As your personal wine concierge, I bring the winery tasting room experience to homes, businesses, special events, and virtually — along with unique access to small-lot, limited production wines. With an evolving portfolio of over 130 different exclusive, premium wines, it’s the only way to taste before you buy without visiting the wineries themselves. It is my love of people, wine, and food that motivated me to become an Ambassador for The Boisset Collection. It was a mission of mine to learn all I could regarding wine, and I earned WSET Level 3 certification in wines and spirits back in 2008.

As your personal Wine Ambassador, I share exclusive new releases, the stories behind the wines and the vineyards, and the passion and knowledge to guide you to wines best-suited for your palate. I also offer a great customizable wine club membership, custom label wines, custom etched bottles, and wine-inspired corporate luxury wine gifts.

I got where I am today on hard work, networking and doing whatever it takes to get my name out there to get business. I am all about customer service and that has helped propel my business to new heights every year. In order to get to where I am, I have to think outside of the box and come up with new and interesting ways to get in front of new people. Bringing people together to share and experience new wines is always fun and magical – we always make new friendships, learn something new about each other and the wines we taste. There is something for everybody in our brand.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many things to do and see in Miami so the choices are many. I like to do varied activities with guests. Daytime activities would include food/walking tours of the different areas in Miami (Wynwood, SB, Little Havana), deep sea fishing, boat tours, parasailing and snorkeling, Fairchild Botanical Gardens, Everglades boat tours, and of course, golfing. An amazing place to eat would be L’Atelier by Joel Robuchon – always immaculate and inspired meals in an exceptional venue never disappoints. Also would go to Sexy Fish for awesome Asian fare and stunning ambiance. A wine bar is always a must in my opinion, so a visit to Lagniappe is always on the list, also love going to Vinya in Coral Gables. and Chef Adrienne’s Vineyard restaurant.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
