Hi Andrea, what principle do you value most?
Being an interior designer, I’m genuinely captivated by the transformative power of emotions in a space. It’s not just about how things look, but how they make you feel, react, and connect. The true essence of my work lies in infusing each design with a rich tapestry of emotions. The core value that guides me is the belief that the emotional impact of a space can truly enhance lives. With every project, I immerse myself in understanding the intended emotional journey, ensuring that every element, from color palettes to textures, resonates in a way that elevates the human experience. This philosophy is the heartbeat of my designs, inviting individuals to forge a personal and profound connection with the spaces they inhabit

My journey to where I am today professionally has been a challenging yet fulfilling one. It certainly wasn’t easy, but overcoming those challenges has been a significant part of my growth. The path I’ve taken has been marked by my unique approach to design – one that sets me apart from others and ignites my passion. What truly excites me is the astrological design philosophy that underpins my work. Astrological Design is a unique approach to interior design that incorporates a client’s natal chart to create a space that reflects their individuality and supports their personal growth.

This insight allows me to craft spaces that not only reflect your individuality but also support your personal growth and a positive transformation on the client’s emotional state, relationships, and overall well-being. I aim to foster a deep connection between individuals and their surroundings, enabling them to evolve into their best selves. Each color, object, and texture I select serves a purpose – to activate emotions, restore balance, and infuse positivity into the space.

One aspect I’m particularly proud of is that my brand doesn’t adhere to a specific style. Instead, we prioritize our clients’ personal style and their comfort with themselves. Our goal is to create environments that resonate with them on a personal level, where they feel truly at home and can thrive.

What sets me apart and defines me is my unwavering dream of establishing a company dedicated to a more profound kind of design. Interior design, in my view, is deeply personal. It involves delving into people’s lives, designing their dream homes – spaces that reflect their identity and where families can grow together, sharing precious moments. For me, it’s about weaving histories and emotions into the design, transforming spaces into vibrant narratives rather than lifeless arrangements.

In essence, I want the world to know that my journey has been shaped by a commitment to meaningful design, driven by the power of astrology and the desire to touch people’s lives through their living spaces. Andrea Anez Interior + Arch is a testament to the belief that a well-designed space can be a catalyst for personal growth, connection, and lasting memories.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d start with dinner at a top-notch restaurant known for its inventive dishes and unique ambiance. Afterward, we’d take a leisurely stroll through the dynamic streets of Wynwood, admiring the vibrant street art and soaking up the creative vibes. It’s the perfect way to digest a great meal and immerse ourselves in Miami’s artistic scene. Wynwood is the ultimate go-to for a dynamic night out – art, culture, and great food all in one place. And of course, Lagniappe offers that perfect mix of wine, cheese, and music, making it a must-visit spot for a relaxed evening.

For a taste of beachfront elegance, we’d head to a charming restaurant in Miami Beach. With the sand, sea, and stars as our backdrop, we’d indulge in a delectable meal while enjoying the soothing sounds of the ocean. As the sun dips below the horizon, we’d witness one of Miami’s breathtaking sunsets, turning the sky into a canvas of vibrant colors.

Here’s to my husband Alan Kervor, CEO of Andrea Anez Interior + Arch. The man who has walked hand in hand with me through every twist and turn, who has believed in our vision even when the road seemed uncertain, and who has infused every step of this journey with love, dedication, and magic. His presence has truly made all the difference, and I am immensely grateful for the profound, challenging, and incredibly fulfilling adventure we’re on together.
