We had the good fortune of connecting with Stafford Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stafford, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always enjoyed repairing and finding solutions for people. From the age of 12, I was interested in all things Tech. Repairing and finding solutions for family members, led to the eventual comment “you should start a business doing this”. So I did. Its been one of the most rewarding choices I have made and do not regret it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I did not actually get a start professionally in the IT Sphere until I was 21. I had gotten a job that I thought was IT related, which was fixing and repairing Battery Backup Systems straight out of high school. it wasn’t until 2006 that I got a chance to work for a leading Cable Services Provider at the age of 20, where I really got most of my professional experience. I started out in the Call Center, and later went on to be as Email Administrator, Senior Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer and now a Cloud Data Center Architect.

I was not a top student in school and did not go to college. Needless to say, it was not easy going up against people with tons of credentials. Luckily my willingness to learn and natural ability to troubleshoot problems, elevated me to be recognized by my peers. I love helping and keeping anyone in my team motivated, which is basically my superpower lol.

The most important lesson I have learned is ensuring the client is treated right, period. I have a great rapport with all of my clients, to the point where some have become great friends. This has kept a lot of them with me for years, even when they move to other places around the world. Shout out to all of my clients!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh Wow. I would say our itinerary would consist of:

Food – Kyma Seafood Grill | Twisted Lime | Ichiban Sushi | Bamboo Shack | Swimming Pigs | BASK Burger and Sushi Koya | Carmine’s

Drinks – SportsBook (BahaMar) | Sunset Bar (Sapodilla) | Bon Vivants | Da Plantation Bar and Grill | 99 Bottles

Visit/Hangout – BahaMar | Atlantis | Exuma Cays (1 Day Boat Trip) | The Island House | 4 Walls Squash Club

Fun would definitely be the day pass experience at the mega resorts here on island (BahaMar and Atlantis), renting ATVs to go around the island, A day trip to the Exuma Cays to the famous Swimming Pigs Beach, Goin on ANY beach (we have amazing beaches at every turn).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
One of my biggest influencers for getting into tech is my cousin Andre Johnson. We grew up together just like brothers and tinkered with computers and different types of tech. So a big Shout out to him!
