We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaimee Ponce and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaimee, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factors of success for us, are that we care about each and every person we work with and we hold ourselves to a very high standard. Every person we do a session for, it doesn’t matter if it a high school senior, a family, a bride, a realtor, a student, a mom, a business executive, is unique in what they want and need. It is our job to listen to what they are saying, find out the end result they need and deliver a high quality product with creativity and excellence in a great timeframe.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The vision for our work resolves around creating beautiful and useful photographs out of what is most important to the people we work with. I have created a business, that is built from my heart and although many people would disagree, I believe it is what I believe sets us apart. Not only do we care about people and all of their details, we strive to see the beauty and the good in everything. We also understand the technical workings, lighting, and art of creating a well crafted professional photograph. The combination of those things is what we call, the sweet spot. Of course, on the other side of wanting to share our hearts, our photographs, and contribute only good to everyone, we know from experience that sometimes business requires policy, hard conversations, and compromise. The balance of wanting to make customers happy at all cost, while sometimes having to hold to our boundaries and policies is one of biggest challenges.
We would want the world to know we truly want to take your needs and vision and combine it with our knowledge, craft and beautiful intention to give you everything you’re looking for, and more. We take every job very seriously and we give your session, thought, energy and everything we have.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I could take my best friend around town, we would start in the little town of Ozona. We would take a golf cart ride by the water, ride through downtown Palm Harbor and stop to eat lunch at Fireside Pizza. We would visit north beach at Honeymoon Island, look for sand dollars, and ride into Downtown Dunedin for dinner. We would of course carry cameras and capture our day and some sweet pictures of each other.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God, my family and friends deserve all of the credit. The moments when you hang on your faith or take a leap of faith, the moments when you fall and you have the best family and friends anyone could ask for.. these are the measure of my success.
