We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Nicole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
One important lesson I have learned through owning my own business is identifying worth. Be it my own self-worth as a business owner, the value of my products and services, and the merit and goodness of those around me, I have learned so much about identifying and respecting worth as a whole.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business, Sally’s Sweet Eats, is a vegan bakery that prides itself on offering decadent desserts to all! We love being able to be enjoyed by both vegan and non-vegan friends by offering delicious options that you can never tell are made with plant-based ingredients.

We love being active and involved in our community through local markets and deliveries, and we aim to always make a difference whenever and wherever we can!

Owning and operating a small business has been a surreal journey that I am forever grateful for, and I cannot wait to see where our small little shop takes off to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Our favorite spot in the city may seem a little biased, but we adore the Royal Palm Beach Green Market! There are tons of amazing vendors with incredible products, all ranging from fresh produce, treats for furry friends, books and blind dates with them, and delicious desserts (hint!).

As for more physical locations, the Frost Museum in Miami is a must! With multiple levels of science and learning and always offering something new to learn and see, I personally can never get enough of my visit!

And don’t even worry about transportation. The Brightline is such a fast and fun way to travel there and to so many other hot spots in the city. So, whether you want to hit the streets of West Palm and grab a bite to eat, go see a Mets game in Miami, or shop at the Aventura Mall, you can make it all happen in the same day with ease. I can never recommend Brightline enough!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my amazing mom, who showed me each and every day what it meant to work hard and push forward no matter the circumstance. I am forever grateful for all of the sacrifices she has and continues to make to support and uplift me, and I can only hope to repay her someday and become at least half of the woman that she is.
