We had the good fortune of connecting with Graciela Montich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Graciela, what are you inspired by?
I’m inspired by the natural world, which I define as the physical and material world that remains in its original state without the intervention of human beings, as opposed to their artificial world. From this concept, I studie the living nature and the way in which humans, surrealistically, could introduce themselves in it to achieve a subject-subject relationship.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Miami Design District! first of all because of Lucid Art Gallery where I show my Art! and there are so many exited stores and restaurants with chefs that have Michelin stars! You can have lunch at Sofia Miami then visit De La Cruz Collection Museum and next to it the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art In Miami, both of them , must do. Later have a tea or coffee at Dior Cafe or at Baccarat Boutique, so so beautiful. Then for dinner , my favorite L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, the chef that have the mosts Michelin stars in the world! The Rubell Museum is perfect for the second day and there is a beautiful restaurant inside Leku , and crossing the street you can visit Superblue Miami, an other must do in Miami, with the show of Lab-Team and the Massless Clouds.
The next day you can visit Perez Museum with such a wonderful edification an views.
If you like the beach, the bests beaches in Miami are in Sunny Isles Beach and Hallouver, there is a wharf with a beautiful beach restaurant on the ocean

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
For 25 years, I worked in business, I love to do it but I always had ART as a side activity , because it gives me an indescribable satisfaction of happiness. I thank my family, my husband and my children helped me to be able to dedicate myself full time to this activity , to understand me and to accompany me in this process of change.
