Meet Paige Virginia | Master Bridal Hair Stylist & Educator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Paige Virginia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paige, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I attribute all of my success to the authenticity of the human experience Majestic Hair brings. I myself am empathetic, and I am fueled by the happiness that radiates from my brides and clients when they see themselves after I do their hair and confidence just pours from their smiles. I have never been the in and out kind of experience as a hairdresser. I want to know you, your lifestyle and your love story.. these details help me to create the real life pintrest photos on them, but catered to their hair and style specifically. Especially on wedding day, when you’re surrounded by your bridesmaids and your beginning the day, I want my bride to trust that I am there with her in making her and her girls look and feel stunning, but ALSO that I am truly happy to be there with them for such a beautiful memory. I know this matters to my brides, especially because i genuinely care for them and their experience with me and throughout their entire day when I leave as well.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I began my career with bridal assisting, attended schooling for my license and enjoyed 7 years working in a typical salon learning and absorbing everything i could (or so i thought) before opening my own salon studio where i could more freely build my own business. I specialized in blondes and bridal. I have a vision for the next stage of Majestic Hair “Salon and Bridal” and what it will become, but I can say the evolution process has surely been a zig zag. When youre in the salon, your world is entirely different than on location hair styling. So I was happily humbled stepping further into the bridal world having my own business. Truthfully I enjoy weddings and being part of such a special memory for my brides. But the journey of our connection begins with that first inquiry, and getting to know eachother during your trial, deciding on hair adornments and extensions as well as perfecting your desired style. I fell in love all over again with the bridal experience. I have a love for instilling that personal confidence in every woman. being part of that is magical for me. So where I stepped into my own business with the mindset that i had to choose, Majestic Hair will always be an all encompassing bridal experience for Hair. Looking at my IG and website, It is clear I have chosen to specialize my career in Bridal and extensions but I hold happiness knowing i can bring their hair vision to life with cuts and colors in a comfortable cozy salon environment for all needs for hair.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s funny, I have lived in boca raton for almost 11 years and I always find myself exploring cities outside of my area. I have favorites all around southflorida. Aside from spending days with my daughter and taking our strolls through Mizner park, enjoying the people, shopping and playing by the fountains, we are friends with the ocean. My father races speedboats, so naturally the weekend goto would be to take the boat out to either the keylime house, 15th street fishery, or houstons for lunch or dinner depending on the waves and how much fun we have in the sun. I might take a friend to relax and enjoy a spa day at the Eau Palm Beach or casually head down to the alchemist in wilton manors for some artsy weekend vibes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A few years ago, at the beginning/ middle of my career , I read a book titled, ” Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change”.. If the title doesn’t give it away, It changed my view for the better. It was about the release of control while simultaneously experiencing our emotions without letting them overpower us. This applied to all areas of my life, especially in my business. I wanted everything perfect now now now and this is a good book i refer back to often when I feel a rush of emotions, especially during the pandemic changes to our industry.
