Meet Paula Cancino | Founder of Creations by Marisena: Crafting Organic Zero Waste Skincare for Families

We had the good fortune of connecting with Paula Cancino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paula, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always been passionate about creating organic, environmentally friendly skincare products, especially with my kids in mind. My passion for creating organic zero waste skincare products inspired me to fill a niche in the market. Combining my love for crafting with a desire for sustainable living, I embarked on this journey to offer people a natural alternative that aligns with their values. Wanting safer, healthier options for my children inspired me to start my own business, aiming to teach them better skincare habits while sharing these benefits with others seeking natural alternatives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m thrilled to share the story of my business, Creations by Marisena. What sets me apart is the genuine commitment to crafting organic skincare products tailored for families. My proudest achievement is the creation of the Bug-Off Lotion Bar, a product developed with my children that’s gained immense popularity for its effectiveness against pesky insect, all while moisturizing at the same time!
The journey wasn’t easy; challenges often arose. Overcoming these hurdles required perseverance, adaptability, and a strong belief in my mission. I’ve learned valuable lessons about resilience, the importance of community support, and staying true to my values.
I want the world to know that Creations by Marisena isn’t just a skincare brand; it’s a testament to my dedication to providing natural, eco-conscious solutions. My story revolves around the passion for healthier alternatives and a sustainable lifestyle, which I aim to share with everyone seeking mindful skincare choices.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt, my children hold a significant place in my journey. Their curiosity, encouragement, and even their active involvement in creating the best selling product : Bug-Off Lotion Bar deserve the utmost recognition. Additionally, the local community here in Jupiter has been incredibly supportive, offering guidance, love, and encouragement, making this journey all the more fulfilling.
