We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Vesce and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, how do you think about risk?
In my journey from law to social media, I’ve learned to see risk as an essential ingredient for growth. It’s not just about diving into the unknown, but about having faith in my abilities and following my passion. Making this transition was a bold step, driven by a desire for a career that resonated with my creative instincts and personal aspirations. Taking this risk has been transformative, teaching me the importance of adaptability, resilience, and staying true to my values. It’s a powerful reminder that stepping out of your comfort zone can open doors to incredible opportunities and a deeper understanding of your own potential.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In the bustling world of social media, what really makes me stand out is how I use my platforms to tell stories that are as real and relatable as scenes from a movie. I share the full range of my experiences – the good days and the tough ones – to create content that feels genuine and connects with people on a personal level. It’s like inviting friends into my life, showing them the ups and downs, and letting them know it’s okay to have both.

Reaching where I am now wasn’t smooth sailing. I faced my share of hurdles, from figuring out how to be different in a sea of influencers to keeping my content true to who I am amidst all the trends. These challenges taught me a lot. I learned to keep pushing forward, to always be open to learning, and most importantly, to stay real. That’s what my brand is all about – being honest, relatable, and creating a space where everyone feels like they belong. It’s not just about the pretty pictures; it’s about making real connections and showing that we’re all in this together.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I feel like Miami is sometimes only known for its nightlife and clubbing, which is fun as well. But as I’m getting a little older I appreciate the daytime activities. We could stop at the Perez Art Museum, Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, and any of the various pop up museums and even the Superblue Immersive Museum is fun! There’s lots of shopping at Brickell City Centre and Lincoln Road. The restaurant scene is always a must in Miami and some of my favorite trendy spots are Giselle, Sexy Fish, Cote, Bakan, and Dirty French amongst so many more. I’m big into fitness classes too and some of my friends in the social media space do great pop up workout events around South Beach such as @RachelJoyFit, so always be on the lookout for some event popping up. My other go to workout classes are Solid Core, Rumble, and Yoga Joint! I’m big into juices and smoothie bars Joe and the Juice, Pure Vida, and Jugo Boss! Also, on Sundays I always go to church, and Vous Church is a big part of my life! Great message and great people.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In reflecting on the influences in my life, I am deeply grateful for several key figures and experiences.

First and foremost, I must give a special shoutout to my late mother. Her enduring positivity and love for life have profoundly influenced me. Her spirit continues to motivate me to live each day to its fullest and to approach life with gratitude and joy. Her example has been a beacon, teaching me to passionately pursue my dreams.

Another significant chapter in my life was my battle with my Brain and Neck Tumor and the time I spent in the hospital. This experience reshaped my outlook on life, making me acutely aware of the preciousness of our time here. It was during this challenging period that I learned the importance of cherishing every moment and seeking what truly brings happiness and fulfillment. This realization was a turning point in my career and remains a driving force in my life decisions.

I am also incredibly thankful for the support of friends, mentors, and colleagues throughout my journey. Each person and experience has contributed significantly to my growth, instilling resilience, empathy, and a positive mindset. I am truly appreciative of their roles in shaping the person I am today.
