Meet Bryan Perez | Dog Breeder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Perez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started to want my own business, I knew forsure I wanted to do something that gave me meaning in this world. I had many ideas that I could’ve gone with for instance, real estate, but I knew that the capital behind that industry was major and I needed to make sure my credit was well on its feet before then. So during that time of 2016, I went out and got myself my FIRST french bulldog as a pet. Did not have no intentions of breeding a dog AT ALL. But I wanted a second one after 2 months past because I wanted my dog to have a friend so I was in a hunt to find a dog and decided to get a female dog for him so that I can eventually mate both dogs to have puppies. I wasn’t knowledgeable in the breed or breeding in general so I made sure to ask ALL necessary questions that might help me guide me through this path. A lot of things I wish I learned and knew about in order to be successful early in this industry, but what help me throughout this time was not knowing anything and went through a lot of obstacles like any other business, it’s a beautiful thing I do and fun but it is a lot of hard work behind breeding these beautiful fur babies. But it took a lot to get to where I am now and now I see myself helping others with problems that I once encountered so that they aren’t making the same mistake I once made. I’m talking about from the upkeeping of the dogs AND the diet , the well being of their health. It’s a lot to know and obviously genetically knowing what dogs to put to mate is very important. It’s easy to grab two dogs and breed them together but all you will be doing is delaying your path to success. It takes years to create a well functional dog with beautiful exotic traits. Not every dog is a breeding dog.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business Brand is called “Notorious Bullies” which my dog breeding business which we specialize in reproduction of French bulldogs and also English bulldogs. How we set ourselves aside from others is the quality of customer service we give each one of our clients despite the value of the puppy/dog. We are more for creating long term relationships with our clients. We want to make sure that we can create a lifetime relationship and be a great assist in this industry. I’m proud of everything I’ve been through in this business because I was able to learn from my mistake and learn things about dogs that I once didn’t know. From the diet of the dog, to the maintenance of the dogs to finally knowing the breed overall because with all the knowledge I’ve encountered, I know now I feel comfortable with helping people out with dogs and guiding them so that they won’t make the same mistakes I once made. Getting to the point I am in my business was NOT easy . Due to the fact that it’s really rare you’ll run across someone in your business that wants to help you out and not take advantage of you. But it took a lot of lessons and trails and tribulations in order to get to where I stand. Everyday i’d learn something knew that would help me. One thing about this business you have to be willingly to be “slow to speak and quick to listen” because you might learn something you didn’t once know. One thing that set myself with a lot of the breeders world wide , is that I’m a disable person in a wheelchair with a chance to walk again one day but despite of the fact of my condition, I do not let that stop me from making sure my dogs are well fed, my dogs are well maintained and as well the health of the dogs are our number one goal to always make sure if any of our dogs medical attention, you must know to identify issues with dogs because if not you’ll run into spending so much money on veterinary care. The dogs has given me a purpose in this world. Being able to nurture and care for a life form is the best deed any human being can do. As well I want to set myself as an example to people in the same condition as me that might not have the same strong mindset I achieved over the years after my incident but I want to change that and be able to be a sort of inspiration for them and/or anyone that I might need a little light shine on them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take my friend to go check out the Miami Beach area. There’s so much to do there and so many great restaurants to dine at. There’s a great area as well known as “Nikki Beach” which offers a great hang out spot to enjoy the winds coming from the beach that sit beach front to the restaurant. They have a great selection of foods from their menu to choose from. I would also check out oleta river which offers activities to do from riding the trails with your mountain bike, to going kayaking which then the lake connects to the beach. When it comes down to doing anything, I pick “adventurous” activities such as atv riding, snowmobiling, I like going to Disney and universal theme parks as well with the family to enjoy all the roller coaster the park has to offer from. I like doing thrilling activities.

I love to dedicate this shout out to my future wife Ashley Reyes , my son Bryan Perez for always being my motivation to achieve success and my family for always sticking by my side and supporting my journey.
