We had the good fortune of connecting with Jose Botello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jose, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We started to think big, in Mexico the family business has been around for more than 35 years, but we had never set foot in the United States, that was when he decided to propose exploring this business here, emigrating and starting this new challenge, although I didint realize what it meant.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are a t-shirt company, we are the base of the pyramid of a business that allows business owners to do more business with our product.

But in reality we are a company that accompanies teams in their games, families with a souvenir of their trip, companies that want to promote their logo on each garment, we are a company that dresses emotions.

Arriving in the United States has been a challenge of resilience, of understanding a new culture, of having a capacity for continuous adaptation, it has been a challenge that has taught us to do things better every day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In the city of Miami I think that sometimes you forget the beauty of its nature, I would take it to my corners of secret beaches that I have found, to see this clear sea and enjoy the beach, it is magical. I would take him to a little window to enjoy a good coffee and a ham and cheese empanada that are a delight and without a doubt I would take him to the La Trova cafe to listen to the good music that comes from the island that formed this city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt, I would recognize the infinite support of my wife, who, like me, came from Mexico and started a new life, from scratch, since we did not know the city, nor did we have a single family member. I would recognize the infinite support of my parents who are my strength from a distance and that despite having them 3000 miles away I feel them present every day.
The company in Mexico that has guided me, supported me and understood that the American market has nothing to do with the Mexican market.
And lastly, to the angels that I met along the way, all those people that you find along the way that support you, who believe in you as does my team and countless people in the city of Miami.
