We had the good fortune of connecting with Oscar Amuz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Oscar, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important thing is perseverance, after 11 years Since 2012 of unceasing work and with many defeats I never lost direction of where I was going with our company, the first 10 years were the most difficult, in the year 2023 and one month in 2024 and advance what will happen in 10 years. but it took 10 years to be where I am.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It is a unique project in the world, in 2012 I began to live a dream, which was to create football for children with Autism when the Hera 1 cup was used in more than 160 children. Today I find myself as a world leader in soccer for children with autism, you will understand that getting where I am today has cost me a lot of assistance and looking for allies who can collaborate to improve our lives. , the most difficult challenges were the economic ones but I never gave up because my work was not for money. Hera personal and helping others, if a dream is born from the heart, put an inspiration from God, you should never give up because good things take time to happen. be created from one year to the next, I believe that the most important thing is that the world needs to know that autism is not a disease, autism is not contracted, autism is what a child is born with, it is a life condition to which We have to get used to living with them, they are unique children and adults with exceptional abilities, which I need a lot of support and that is what we are for Autism Soccer, to improve the quality of life through the sport that we love the most, our other passion is soccer.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have lived in the city of Miami for more than 30 years, when my friends come the first thing I like to show them is the entrance to Brickell, with those endless highways and monumental buildings that leave visitors speechless. However, I also like to walk them through various low-income neighborhoods so that they can see that not everything that shines here is gold, it is a contrast between wealth and poverty. No, I am a Restaurant person, rather I like to share quality of life in my house, in a recording studio or taking them to the soccer teams with autistic children to raise awareness among people, of course we can’t avoid taking a walk around the Playa Collins Av. and 58th. As you can see, for me it is very important to give quality of life to my children and spend as much time as possible, life is too short to lose it on the street

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The support of God in the first instance, then the most important thing in my life, my children Lola, AJ, Diego and Axel and my wife Miriam Anaya for the understanding the Love because we have had many casualties and we have gone through very difficult times but together to God as the first person to give me the strength and to my children and wife if it were not for your support I would not be here today. My passion and dedication, my project goes beyond 100%, I would like to thank the parents of children with autism who believe in our project that it is definitely the most important thing to improve the quality of life of their children, without them It’s just that it wasn’t possible” thanks to all the parents. very grateful to God and my Guardian Angel
