We had the good fortune of connecting with Elisa Calosso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elisa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After over 15 years of experience in the corporate realm in different Human Resources senior level roles, the onset of the pandemic brought me into a period of profound reflection. At the same time, the arrival of my second child added another layer of complexity to this introspective phase. Upon resuming my professional duties post-maternity leave, I found a significant shift in my role, prompting a reevaluation of my career and personal aspirations.
Driven by a desire for meaningful change for me and also for the impact I could promote in others, I embarked on a journey to explore a subject that had long intrigued me: Our Emotions and how they affect our wellbeing. Enrolling in a comprehensive program allowed me to delve deeper into this field, igniting a passion and sense of purpose that was there for a long time.
Subsequently, fueled by this passion and a quest for genuine fulfillment, I made the decision to transition from the security of traditional employment to the dynamic landscape of entrepreneurship.
Navigating the intricacies of launching and managing my own venture has been an unique experience, characterized by a continuous learning curve and the necessity to adapt to new challenges.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I know firsthand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, stressed, and downright burned-out. For years, I battled panic attacks, anxiety, and insomnia while juggling a successful career in Human Resources. It felt like I was drowning in my own emotions, with no lifeline in sight. But I refused to let my struggles define me. I was determined to turn my pain into purpose and help others facing similar challenges. And thus, my journey toward healing and transformation began.

It all started with research and a little serendipity. I stumbled upon the work of Louise Hay and her powerful message of self-healing. That’s when I started my own process – I needed to address the root causes of my issues, not just mask the symptoms with superficial work and medication.

Of course, it hasn’t always been easy. Like any journey, there have been challenges along the way. But through perseverance, determination, and a whole lot of support from my family, mentors and community, I’ve been able to overcome those obstacles and continue moving forward.

Through my business, I aim to help professionals and entrepreneurs break free from burnout, relieve stress and anxiety, and work on the root of their issues. Many of my clients find themselves feeling stuck. They’ve tried numerous solutions without success. That’s where I come in – supporting them in digging deep, embracing vulnerability, and discovering real, lasting solutions in a fraction of time.

So, what do I want the world to know about me and my brand? Simply put, I’m here to offer hope, a safe space and a change in relationship with yourself. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by stress, stuck in a cycle of anxiety, or simply seeking a better way forward, I’m here to help you uncover the real, lasting solutions you’ve been searching for.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami’s stunning beaches are a must. I would love taking them for a walk along the shorelines of Dania Beach and feeling the sand between our toes and listening to the soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore, and being close to home makes it even better. I have a secret spot too – Biscayne Bay! The FIU North Campus offers a breathtaking view of the bay, and it’s one of my hidden gems. There’s nothing like soaking in the serenity of the bay, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

A scenic drive along A1A, starting from Las Olas Blvd and ending up in vibrant South Beach. It’s the perfect blend of nature and city vibes, with stunning ocean views the whole way.

Oleta River State Park is another great place that I would recommend to go kayaking or hiking. As you can see I love being outdoors!

I wouldn’t miss taking them to Little Havana, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and if they come with kids the Children’s Museums is also great to include on the itinerary, and of course leave some room for shopping.

Of course, no trip to Miami would be complete without indulging in some delicious Latin cuisine. From traditional Cuban dishes to mouthwatering Latin fusion, there’s no shortage of amazing restaurants to explore.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many incredible people that have played a pivotal role in my journey, and I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of them. First and foremost, I have to recognize my rock, my husband Fabricio. He’s been my unwavering support system, my confidant, and his love and encouragement fuels me every single day, and I’m endlessly grateful to have him by my side. The same goes to my kids, my parents and in-laws whose support in chasing my dreams mean the world to me.

Next up, I want to give a shoutout to my amazing mentor, Lisa Perez. She’s been my guiding light, my source of wisdom, and my cheerleader through it all. Her support and guidance have been invaluable.

And of course, I can’t forget about my incredible community at Women Prosperity Network. They lift me up and inspire me to be the best version of myself. To each and every member of this empowering community, thank you for your love and support.

Last but not least, I want to give a shoutout to all the books, podcasts, and resources that have shaped and inspired me along the way. From the motivational words of Louis Hay to the transformative training at EFT Universe, ACEP and The Tapping Solution, these sources of wisdom have been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.

I am truly blessed to have such incredible support in my journey
