We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Natali and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I think the most important part of entrepreneurship is creating habits around self-care. As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to get wrapped up in your career because it’s a 24/7 job. At the start of each week, I add time in my schedule for self-care practices like yoga, meditation, and going for a walk or run. If it’s on my calendar, it creates a timeframe within my day to have time for myself to disconnect and recharge.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I became a full time yoga instructor in 2023 and my background and degree in business has helped me create wellness programs and organize events. As a creator, I’m constantly coming up with fun sequences for my classes and I bring that same creativity to my programs and events. The most challenging part for me has been to separate the two. As an instructor, I have to prepare myself mentally to guide my students through a yoga flow that includes clear cues, spirituality, and intention setting. For my programs and events, I have to put my business hat on. Making sure everything is organized, finances are in place, and that I’m hiring the right team. My biggest lesson so far has been through collaborations. When you’re getting hired to teach, it’s important to ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS and HAVE A CONTRACT. The easy way out is to say yes for the money until you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation that doesn’t align with who you are. You have to make sure you know all the details before you show up for the job.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Friday hot yoga class at Mimi Yoga or Sol Yoga. At night we’ll go to Bar Taco in Coconut Grove for Tacos and Margs then a walk around the neighborhood. Saturday morning yoga class at THesis Hotel in Coral Gables followed by breakfast at Pura Vida. Then dinner at Pastis in Wynwood followed by drinks at Dante’s. Sunday is for the beach and paddle boarding in Sunset Harbor followed by sushi at Omakai. Sunday night will end with a Deep Stretch yoga class at Open Door Yoga.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Over the past few months, I’d have to give a Shoutout to the founder of Open Door Yoga, Sherrie Giusto. She’s given me multiple opportunities to do what I love – teach yoga & create. The Five Minute Journal created by Intelligent Change has also been a part of my success. Taking a moment to reflect helps me realize what I already have in order to welcome in more.
