Meet Anderson Pinto | General Contractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anderson Pinto and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anderson, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have been involved with construction for about 35 years of my life. I have always worked for someone else and made those companies successful. Around 2007 I started working for one such company and I saw the potential it could have if it was run differently. So, around 2010, I became a partial owner of the company and ran it for almost 19 years, bringing it from a handyman shop to a multi-million-dollar business. But unfortunately, my business partner had other ideas and made decisions that made me leave the company and start my own. However, what I’ve gained now is the freedom to run the company my way, allowing me to make both the good and bad decisions and learn from how they play out.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

We are a construction company located in South Florida with over 35 combined years of experience. We prioritize delivering top-quality products and services while upholding the highest health and safety standards. Our highly effective team, accurate planning, and comprehensive resource deployment are the keys to achieving our consistent high standard for projects.
The group consists of skilled workmen and expert project managers, as well as trained operators. We provide consultations and solutions to meet our clients’ requirements throughout projects, covering all aspects of building construction and contracting services.
We specialize in fields including all types of building construction, concrete restoration, commercial and residential remodeling, as well as painting and waterproofing.

Running a business is never easy, but I believe when you do what you love it makes things a little easier. One of the most gratifying things in my line of work is to help a client achieve a dream or vision with their home, such as via a kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, or a new home.

The best lesson I’ve learned is that no matter what the situation is, always be honest and tell the truth. We as humans will make mistakes. What makes some of us different is how we fix them.

I’m an Immigrant (from Brazil) who has been in the USA for the past 37 years, and my experience tells me you must trust God and trust yourself. Success comes with a lot of work and the journey is long, but it will be worth it in the end. Just make sure you never compromise family and friendships along the way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Downtown Palm Beach area is awesome and has great restaurants and bars. Delray Beach Main Ave is also a great place to hang out and have some fun.
Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood is great to catch a concert or just hang around the hotel.

Or, you can take a boat out for a trip on the intercoastal and visit some of the many restaurants there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My main shoutout would go to God. I wouldn’t be where I am without Him in my life, with all his guidance and blessings. I named my company (The Chosen Group) in honor of Him. Another shoutout would be to my employees—a company can’t grow without having dedicated employees. And last, but not least, my wife who has always been by my side.
