Meet Rebeca and Liz | Professional Hair Dresser

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebeca and Liz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rebeca and Liz, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Rebeca and Liz have always had strong independent personalities. Deciding to come together to create our own place of beauty was a no-brainer. We both grew up with a passion for beauty, I mean we took dress up to an entirely different level as kids. And that passion only matured as we grew up. Who knew that playing makeover and dress up could turn into a career. For Rebeca her passion evolved from mastering nails to falling in love with the beauty of hair. For her the passion grew from one area into another. For Liz her passion evolved from skincare aesthetics to makeup, hair and nails. So why did we pursue this career, well we know that if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life.

Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
What sets us apart from others is that we are unique and we own that. We got to where we are today with hard work and persistence. No it was not easy, ever time we faced a challenge we took it one step at a time. We always took a second to look at the entire challenge and find options that would help us achieve what we needed, no was never an option. The biggest lesson is that keeping a positive mindset can make or break you. If there’s a will there’s a way. We want our impact on the community around us to be that we are there for them to help achieve all their beauty needs.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We are centrally located in Ft. Lauderdale Fl where the beaches are the biggest hotspot. During the spring and summer we spend time outside enjoying the weather and the ocean. One of our favorite restaurants Sardellis is located minutes from Hollywood Beach and serves some of the best homemade Italian food around. Nightlife we enjoy the newly renovated Hard Rock Guitar Hotel which has amazing dining and great clubs.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For Rebeca her kids Edwin and Sabrina motivated her to build an amazing clientele, Who has loyally followed her “everywhere” to make this happen. For Liz her fiancé Patrick and expecting little girl are the reason her success is so great. The upcoming arrival of their little girl keeps her motivated everyday.
