We had the good fortune of connecting with Jero Arias and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jero, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was a decision driven by a mix of passion and opportunity. I’d been working in the 3D modeling and 3D visualization since 2013, and I realized there was a growing demand for high-quality visuals, especially as industries like interior design, and architecture.
I always had the ambition to create something of my own, but for a long time, I kept delaying the final choice. The idea of building a company that reflected my vision of excellence, attention to detail, and a personalized approach to client needs really appealed to me.
Two years ago, when I founded RLT Visualization Studio, it was about more than just creating a business—it was about bringing together a team that shared my passion for transforming ideas into stunning, realistic visual experiences. I wanted to offer something different, focusing on not just technical precision but also the emotional impact of the visuals we create. I wanted to be more than just a service provider; I wanted to be part of my clients’ teams, truly understanding their needs and passion.
The motivation was also deeply personal. I wanted the freedom to shape my own future, work on projects I truly cared about, and have the autonomy to steer the creative direction. Of course, it came with risks and challenges, but I saw it as an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
What should our readers know about your business?
At RLT Visualization Studio, we pride ourselves on creating stunning visuals that bring our clients’ visions to life. But what truly sets us apart is the way we connect with our clients. We don’t just offer a service—we immerse ourselves in their projects, working closely with them to understand their goals, needs, and passion. This collaborative approach makes us feel like part of their team, allowing us to produce visuals that not only meet their expectations but also reflect the essence of their vision.
In the beginning, it wasn’t easy to find the right clients and the right people to work with. At first, we worked on small, low-paying projects that took up a lot of time. But those early gigs taught us a lot and helped us level up to take on bigger, more exciting projects.
Despite that, we kept going, knocking on doors, showcasing our services, and trying to convince potential clients that we offered something that would make their workflow easier and help them sell their projects better.
I’d like to highlight Alexandra Giordano from Genesi Studio—an incredible interior designer, entrepreneur, and empowered woman—who trusted us and gave us the opportunity to work on her projects as part of her team. That was a pivotal moment for us and played a significant role in our growth as a studio.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to Miami for a week, I’d show them the city’s vibe by starting with a chill brunch at Lido Bayside, with beautiful water views, then hitting up South Point, one of my favorite spots in town. We’d check out the cool street art in Wynwood and dive into the lively scene in Little Havana with its colorful streets and tasty Cuban coffee. We’d go to the Perez Museum for a bit, and then visit my favorite store in town, Walt Grace Vintage to check some amazing guitars and cars.
I´d definetly would go to Do not sit on the furniture to dance at night.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I´ve been influenced by a couple of entrepeneur freinds along my life, one of them is Andres Valencia from E Containers, and the other one is Chef Leon Gomez, I´ve seen their projects grow with my own eyes, from something small to big businesses. Two years ago, I went through a tough period of grief and that came along with the loss of my job, this was a real turning point for me. Thankfully, my sister Maria was there every step of the way, always encouraging me not to lose hope. My therapist also played a crucial role—I honestly don’t think I’d have had the clarity to make the right decisions without that emotional support. Starting my own business became the light at the end of the tunnel, giving me something to focus on. During that time, I made the key decisions that ultimately led to the creation of RLT Visualization Studio. It was a transformative experience that shaped both my career and the foundation of the company.
