We had the good fortune of connecting with Attila Yildiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Attila, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Being a self employed business owner was a very difficult decision but it was my dream. After working many years in multi national companies and holding up to C level Executive positions this decision was tough but necessary. It meant freedom for me.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have been in the business of Real Estate since early 2013.
The road to success have not been easy of course. I have had 0 transactions my first year. The business have grown steadily throughout the years. Since the beginning, my thought process have always been about the relationships I have and the value that I am bringing to the table. I always knew if I know my contacts in personal level and offer them the highest level of service and assistance, things will always get better and they did.
In our line of business, there are always challenges. We just need to keep calm and focus on finding solutions. The solutions we find should always favor the client.
The biggest lesson I learned is when you become successful, some of your best clients tend to think you would not need their referrals anymore. To overcome this obstacle, we need to continuously (and nicely) remind them that our business can only survive with on going referrals.
I just want the world to know that it does not matter if you are not from here, nor have you ever worked in this industry. What matters most is your drive and your strategical capabilities.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to 4-5 different neighborhood in the Miami area to show the variety of styles and lifestyles in our city. All these neighborhood are very different from each other yet very interesting and fun: Coconut Grove, Brickell, South Beach, Design District, Wynwood, Bal Harbour etc.
Our tour would probably start with a breakfast in Coconut Grove, then lunch in Brickell (Brickell City Center), then afternoon walk and coffee in Wynwood and Design District areas; finally dinner in Bal Harbour Shops
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife and my other team members deserves a big recognition and credit on the success that I have had. It would never have been easy to climb the ladder all by myself. I’d like to dedicate the shoutout to my wife Lorena Fumagalli
