We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Susan Vineta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Susan, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Over time my perception has changed from work life balance to work life optimization… balancing felt like constant record keeping. I have designed a life where every day has components of work and play that keep me energized. One of my specialties is making work playful and play scheduled. Grateful to have a wellness practice that allows me the opportunity to serve the community through Chiropractic, the ultimate integrator of the mind, body, and spirit through our nerve system. Living a holistic lifestyle is rooted on planning purposeful days for a healthy mind, body, and spirit connection. I must attribute part of the definition of work life optimization, is we must take the time to reflect on the day. It is important to know if the day has elements of both being productive, having fun, and oh yes, some days need restful play.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am excited to be the Doctor of Chiropractic for Better Energy Everyday Wellness. Something that sets us apart is we are a concierge practice, meaning care is individualized on-site through chiropractic care, nutrition awareness, and lifestyle actions congruent with a holistic practice. One of my favorite opportunities is to help someone who wants to adopt a plant-based lifestyle, which allows me to incorporate my passion for cooking. Another fun fact is for the past two years we’ve partnered with Body4Yoga and The Convergent Method to host Optimize Your Life Beach Retreats at Pier Walk in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Currently, collaborating to co-create a sustainable wellness boutique center within Peace on Earth Ecovillage. Our mission is to provide a Better Energy Everyday sanctuary with access to world-class healers for residents and guests to be educated and guided to peace, joy, love, and better energy every day.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Start the morning with yoga at Body 4 Yoga in Hialeah for an amazing Vinayasa flow.
After getting ready for the day head over to Happy Vegan Bakery for the best potato empanadas and guava and cheeze pastelitos, and whatever else you like – Mango juice please.
Hop on 826 North to head over to the beach for an afternoon of sunshine on Bal Harbour Beach and if it’s raining head inside the Ritz-Carlton for a massage.
For lunch cross over the bridge to Panya Thai restaurant for the best Thai food ever, order the Vegetable Spring Rolls, the papaya salad no shrimp or fish sauce (or leave it if you like it) plus the pineapple fried rice with vegetables are a must try.
After lunch jump on I-95 South to head to the museums – Frost and PAMM – wait out the afternoon traffic. Grab a Happy Hour snack and the views from Verde at PAMM.
Finally, for dinner head down Biscayne heading north to have dinner at Pinch Kitchen, – order the Vegan Seasonal Soup, Spicy Brussels Sprouts, Focaccia bread, oh definitely the hand cut french-fries, and the petite salad are all spectacular.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to of all my tribes… The Family/Friends tribe who always support my next adventures and are my biggest believers. My Chiropractic tribe who are helping connect people to more. Of course, my BEE tribe at Better Energy Everyday, who are constant supporters and seekers. My Toastmasters tribe, that starts with Daybreak, Sunrise, and Art of Speaking, with District 47 Southeast Florida and The Bahamas, and the whole international community who are mentors, encouragers, and provide fellowship. My Philanthropist tribe of givers and doers who share a passion in seeing the world a little better each day. While not individually named, I am grateful for the human interactions that enrich my story.
