Hi Kethuky, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I came to the United States in search of a better life for my daughter, who has Down syndrome. When I arrived, I faced many challenges and had to start from scratch. At first, I worked from a small corner of my living room, determined to provide for my family and build a better future. Over time, with hard work and dedication, I was able to grow my client base and refine my skills. Today, I am proud to have my own salon, a space where I can share my passion and creativity with my clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would love to take my friend to explore St. Augustine and Miami. We’d start in St. Augustine, where we’d visit the historic sites, stroll through the charming streets, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the oldest city in the U.S. Then, we’d head to Miami to experience the vibrant nightlife, beautiful beaches, and diverse culture. It would be an amazing trip, filled with unforgettable memories and new adventures!
