We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexa De Leon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexa, what do you want people to remember about you?
When I think about legacy, I think about impact—the meaning we create in the dash between the day we are born and the day we leave this world. My deepest desire is for my legacy to ignite a spark in others, reminding them that they are powerful and magical beyond belief. I want people to feel the truth that their potential is infinite and that a purposeful, fulfilling life is not just possible—it’s waiting for them.
Too often, we settle for a life that doesn’t make us feel alive. We drift through days on autopilot, stuck in survival mode, just trying to stay afloat. That isn’t living. I want to be a voice that awakens others to the realization that they are capable of so much more. The life they dream of is not only attainable—it’s calling them.
I hope to be remembered as a bright light, someone who made the world just a little shinier, a little more beautiful. I want my legacy to be defined by the love I gave, the lives I touched, and the transformations I helped catalyze. I aspire to create a ripple effect of change, inspiring others through courageous, vulnerable, and authentic leadership.
Above all, I want to be known for empowering women to reconnect with their highest selves. To step fully into their truth and power, and to live lives so purposeful and expansive that they inspire the next generation to do the same. My legacy is one of love, empowerment, and transformation—a beacon for those ready to awaken to the limitless potential within.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart is my intentional approach to empowerment. I don’t just aim to inspire; I provide a clear roadmap for people to reconnect with their intuition, break through limiting beliefs, and align their lives with their highest selves. I believe true transformation begins within, and by focusing on inner shifts, we create lasting, sustainable change. I lead with authenticity and vulnerability, sharing my own struggles and triumphs to foster a space where others feel seen, heard, and safe to grow. My work blends practical strategies with soul-centered practices, honoring the alignment of mind, body, and spirit. I guide people to embrace both their humanity and divinity, knowing that success and fulfillment are deeply interconnected. Beyond the individual, I am passionate about creating a ripple effect of transformation—helping others empower their families, communities, and the next generation. Above all, I champion women to step unapologetically into their power and truth, breaking cycles and leading expansive, purposeful lives that redefine what it means to live and lead consciously.
How I got to where I am today wasn’t easy—it’s been a winding road of ups and downs, full of self-discovery, contraction, and expansion. My path has evolved and redefined itself over time. I started in fashion marketing, but after experiencing burnout and a quarter-life crisis, I was forced to pause and ask myself powerful questions about the direction of my life. I realized I was settling, merely existing instead of truly living.
This awakening led me on a personal and spiritual journey that ultimately brought me to my calling as a life coach. Over the years, I’ve found my passion in supporting ambitious, soul-led women who crave more—who want to live in alignment with their highest selves.
Becoming a mom in recent years has been a transformative part of my story, both personally and professionally. Motherhood has taught me about the importance of being present, slowing down, playing more, and giving myself grace. It has also been an invitation to redefine balance, question societal norms, and pave my own path with trust and flexibility.
The challenges I’ve faced have been many— big transitions, postpartum anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and more. What has carried me through is my resilience, my unwavering dedication to growth and self-trust, and my faith. I’ve learned to trust that everything is working out for me, even when I can’t yet understand how. I believe there is something greater at work—a force that is orchestrating beautiful things beyond my current comprehension. This faith has been my anchor, reminding me to lean into trust and surrender when the path feels unclear.
While I’ve always believed that I am the solution to my problems, I’ve also come to see that I don’t have to face challenges alone. I’ve leaned on mentors, coaches, therapists, and my spirituality to navigate life’s toughest seasons. Choosing myself, trusting the process, and embracing the support available to me have been the greatest acts of love and courage.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that our stories dictate our lives—but we hold the power to change those stories. When we get curious and choose to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve us, we can create the reality we desire. Life is happening for us, not to us, and we always have the power to choose how we interpret our experiences. The perspective we bring shapes the reality we live.
I want the world to know that everything I’ve created for myself is possible for them, too. It all comes down to the choices we make—the decision to choose faith, growth, healing, and alignment, no matter how challenging the journey may be.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1: Miami Beach
We’d kick off the trip at Miami Beach, soaking up the sun and the iconic energy that makes this spot so special. After a leisurely day by the water, we’d head to Lincoln Road for dinner, enjoying the buzzing atmosphere of this melting pot of cultures. To wrap up the evening, we’d grab creative cocktails at one of my favorite spots: The Broken Shaker, a cozy garden bar with an eclectic, laid-back vibe and amazing music.
Day 2: A Taste of Cuba
We’d immerse ourselves in Cuban culture, starting with a classic lunch at Versailles, the heart of Miami’s Cuban food scene. I’d introduce her to all the must-haves, like pastelitos and Cuban coffee. Then, we’d head to Ball & Chain in Little Havana for live music and an evening of salsa dancing, soaking up the vibrant energy of Miami’s nightlife.
Day 3: Coconut Grove
We’d spend a full day exploring Coconut Grove. Brunch would be at Amal or Motek, both offering incredible Mediterranean-inspired menus. Afterward, we’d wander through the charming streets, popping into unique boutiques and art galleries. Ice cream at Salt & Straw would be non-negotiable, with their handcrafted flavors being the perfect treat. To cap off the day, we’d enjoy rooftop drinks at The Mayfair Hotel, surrounded by serene views and a tropical vibe.
Day 4: Art, Pilates & Dancing
The day would start with a Pilates class to stretch and energize. Then, we’d head to Wynwood to explore the famous Wynwood Walls and the surrounding street art galleries. Lunch would be at one of the latest hot spots in the area, followed by some downtime. At night, we’d find a vibrant spot like Gramps or Dirty Rabbit to dance the night away.
Day 5: Spa Day
This day would be all about indulgence and self-care. We’d spend the morning luxuriating at the spa at either Faena Hotel or The Edition, enjoying massages, steam rooms, and a tranquil escape. In the evening, we’d dress up and head to Cecconi’s, one of my absolute favorite spots, for a Mediterranean dinner under twinkling lights.
Day 6: Key Biscayne & Ecstatic Dance
We’d spend a peaceful day exploring the quieter beaches of Key Biscayne, taking in the natural beauty and serenity of this hidden gem. In the evening, we’d join a drum circle or an ecstatic dance session, where we could express ourselves freely and dance under the stars—a perfect way to close out the trip.
