We had the good fortune of connecting with Leah Dibut and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leah, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always been in love with music. I first started out dancing because my parents were professional salsa dancers. It was in my blood. From a young age I always knew that art was what I was meant to do in this lifetime.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I wouldn’t say it was easy to get to where I am right now but I will say that I have had so much fun taking my ideas and making them reality. I’ve learned so much throughout this process about networking, people, different personalities, different work environments, the music business in itself. Its a whole world people can’t really imagine what its like once you’re in it. One piece of advice I would tell another creative is to have patience because it’ll be a long ride. A good one depending on your perspective of things. I would love to one day be a voice for upcoming and current artist. Not many people understand everything we go through in order to bring the world peace, love and happiness through music.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well- I live in Palm Beach but born in Miami. I would take them to both cities and show them the differences and beauties of each city. In Palm Beach I would take her to Worth Ave and vision ourselves living the lives we truly love. And in Miami we would visit the most delicious restaurants in town and take her to my city Hialeah. It’s mostly a latin based community. I’m Cuban and you’ll see the most authentic foods and drinks there. That spot is a must do for me. Going back to my culture is KEY!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are a lot of people and sources that I would love to mention. It’s been years of personal development and growth in all areas of my life. The first person I would love to shoutout is my mom. She is the root of why I fell in love with personal growth in the first place. She is the strongest woman I know. The other person would probably be Tony Robbins. I took him over as my mentor and have been following him since I was 11 years old probably. The two other people would probably be John Maxwell & Jay Shetty, two very powerful well minded people in my opinion
