We had the good fortune of connecting with Agustín Meder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Agustín, how do you think about risk?
To me risk is oportunity. The more risk we take, the more paths we open, looking at it from a learning and experience perspective. I think when we think about risks, we think about the possibility of both gaining and losing something, although if we think about it as a form of exchange for learning or experience (although they could be the same thing), we are different, we work differently, we move forward differently.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from the rest, as well as what sets others apart from me and from each other, is the essence. I believe that the more aligned we are with our essence, the more transparent and captivating we are.
I feel fortunate and grateful for the path I am taking, not only artistically (which offers me a world of possibilities and experiences to develop in what I like most) but also with topics such as self-knowledge, self-control, awareness and coherence to accompany both the artistic and everyday parts.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I think I would do what I did a month ago and will do again in a few weeks, which is to be in a house in the mountains, in a recording studio, exchanging conversations and moments with people I connect with, very rewarding, productive and constructive moments for me.
Long days where transversal activities take place, such as recording and suddenly going to cut wood to heat the house and after that starting to cook a delicious stew to share along with anecdotes and plans to continue developing things.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It is difficult for me to clarify this point. I do not believe that it is appropriate to focus or point some focal points when we are a whole that acts at the same time and space. What do I mean by this? I understand that there are forces or energies that from codes (such as language or the power of stimulation) can help us better than others, and that is how all “that other thing” that we sometimes do not perceive but that happens anyway would be minimized and if it were not for that, the situations indicated to get to where we are would not have occurred either.
That being so, I found the concepts that I once found in the book “The 4 Agreements” very interesting, I consider that it was a cornerstone in my later growth.
